
About Ayesha
Ayesha is a naturopath, herbalist, and nutritionist with 25 years of experience in private practice. She has lectured at many colleges and universities in Australia, and was the Program Manager of Naturopathy at the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne. Ayesha currently lectures and supervises senior student practitioners at Torrens University, as well as the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University.
Ayesha has postgraduate qualifications in Evidence-Based Complementary Medicine from the Australian Centre for Complementary Education and Research. She is the past president of the Victorian Herbalists Association and a member of the Naturopathic and Herbalists Association of Australia & the NHAA Sustainability and Environment Group.
Ayesha has a warm and personable approach. She can help you tailor a practical and achievable holistic health program to suit your needs and budget using modalities such as herbal medicine, nutritional medicine, food as medicine, food & lifestyle counselling, botanical skincare, flower essences & aromatherapy. Ayesha provides education, motivation and support to help you attain your health goals. She has expertise in all areas of general practice. She has special interests in gastrointestinal conditions and the microbiome, family health, paediatrics, genitourinary and reproductive health, preconception and pregnancy care, and mental health.
Ayesha incorporates traditional, holistic person-centred naturopathic medicine with contemporary evidence-based approaches. She is passionate about preventative health care – focusing not only on treating existing health conditions but also on preventing disease, maintaining health and achieving optimal wellness. Ayesha has an integrative, shared-care approach and will work collaboratively with you and your other complementary or biomedical health practitioners.
